Overpriced and doesn't value the clients opinions. My file was disorganized and some items even lost. Subpoenas never got mailed that were requested. Evidence was not properly reviewed or even looked at. IoLTA funds were not timely processed. Communication was very difficlt and inconsistent. High staff turn over and very overpriced!!!! Becareful of the sales pitch, it got me too! In fact, I am now filing a formal complaint with the State of Michigan , because Mr. Stimpson has failed to provide me with a copy of where my 24k has gone to. The law says he must provide me with a transaction record, as requested of my funds in his client account but he has failed to do so and even stated to me in the end that he didn't know the exact amount. How does a lawyer not know the exact amount of their clients money? He wants to paint me as a difficult client. That is funny, because he is actually the difficult one. He wheels and deals behind your back. When I asked to review emails between him and opposing counsel, I was told no and that if I asked again he would quit me. This is just the tip on the ice burg. Be Very Careful of you hire him!!!!

I wish I could give Stimpson and his team more than five stars! Stimpson was my attorney for a drawn out - emotional case. He kept me level headed, focused, and most importantly, prepared. He always answered every single question I had throughout the process and always took time to listen to my concerns. Stimpson tells it to you just like it is - whether you like it or not. I genuinely appreciate his advice, his honesty, and his straightforward attitude. It is emotionally, mentally, and physically exhausting to prepare estate issues. On top of this, I, like many people who are not lawyers, know next to nothing about the legal intricacies of this highly sensitive topic.
