While this divorce was a horrible experience, Ms. Carfrae went out of her way to keep me calm and focused. I always felt I received individual, personal support and representation, and even though the outcome went in my favor, I would have written these same things had it not. Ms. Carfrae was always available and didn't treat me like the divorce "newbie" that I was....plus she was simply an excellent counselor. When she argued she was knowledgeable and articulate, and, perhaps most importantly, it was evident the court had respect for her and her reputation. I'm very grateful.

If i could leave a negative star amount i would. If you are reading this please turn away. By far the worst representation i have ever had. I paid over 6k just to have her pullout because she didn’t want to put in any effort. I’m sure she was good at her job in the 1920’s but she has no energy to assist now and is just collecting money. Unprofessional and the biggest waste of time and money. I have done a better job representing myself these past months than she has since i hired her. i wish i could go back and time and never contacted her. She will make you seem like a priority before she gets her retainer but after that good luck.

I am surprised by the negative reviews. Mrs Carfrae represented me over 10 yrs ago and was nothing but the best. She taught me alot about the court system and how it works. Was very professional and always responded to me. I learned alot from her. Thank you.

Dorothy was my 4th and final lawyer in my child custody and divorce case. She was BY FAR the best. My divorce was 15 years ago. I went to her after she was recommended to me by a friend of my Fathers. He was A retired Attorney out of Beverly Hills who had written some of the family laws we have today.
