I hired Karla at Lieberman Law to help in closing on my first home. Karla was recommended by my mortgage broker and we were able to close on time, but not without a lot of stress. When I initially spoke with Karla we discussed closing costs and her attorney fee, which seemed reasonable. Throughout the process the owners title insurance (which was several thousand dollars) was listed as optional. Karla never asked me if I wanted this insurance and when I got the preliminary version of the closing documents I saw it listed and informed her that I didn't want the insurance. She called me and rather than explaining why she recommended this insurance, the firs thing she did was threaten to drop me as a client if I didn't purchase this insurance. She claimed that due to COVID issues I was required to purchase this insurance, which didn't make sense to me. Even so, I was never informed that this insurance, which was listed as optional on all the documents that I was provided, was actually required. At bare minimum it was exceptionally poor communication. This conversation rubbed me the wrong way so I looked for another attorney, but we were a week before closing so it was too late to switch. Overall I felt frustrated and taken advantage of.

Having just closed on a house, Gregg, Jessica, and associates made this process as smooth and as easy as possible. They responded immediately to updates and changes, were always courteous and professional, and Gregg personally took time to answer my questions at each step along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants to purchase a home.
