I hired Kim Stephen's to represent me on some felony charges right after my first initial consult with him. During the initial consult, which was free, I explained everything to him in regards to my case. After me explaining everything and after answering his questions, he actually told me that he thought we had a good case and that he thought he would be able to get most of the charges dismissed. I understood him to say that he felt he could get ALL of my felony cases dismissed and that he could probably get me a good deal on my misdemeanor charge. So, I hired him and paid him $5000.0] to represent me. Now, to make a LONG STORY as short as possible! I told Mr Stephen's that I would not accept any type of plea deal that might be offered on the drug charges I was facing because I was TOTALLY INNOCENT of these charges and even had proof of such. I also told him that I did not want to use what's called a First Offenders plea on my misdemeanor charge, reason for this does not matter. On the day of court, while standing in front on the judge, I sort of get blind sided when I learn that I have just accepted a plea deal on the drug charge AND I even used the First Offenders plea on the misdemeanor charge! I was LITERALLY speechless while standing in front of the judge and I all of a sudden just lost all hope of receiving the PROPER punishment for the one mistake I had made. Before the trial ever took place, I learned that the D.A. was pushing to hit me with one year of probation. I ended up getting TWO years of probation. I actually would have done better had I just gone and spoke to the D.A. without a lawyer because then I would only be looking at the ONE year of probation that the D.A. was seeking! Just be really careful when hiring an attorney and be sure to do your homework before hiring one. The highest price attorney does not mean you will automatically be getting the best defense! BTW, this all happened to me well over 2 years ago so I am not anywhere near as angry at this attorney as I was the first few months. I'm saying this just to hopefully let you know that this review is not because of any malice I may have against this attorney! I am merely speaking the TRUTH!

Mr. Stephens was very attentive right out of the gate and handle my case with great professionalism. Kept my great history intact and a DUI off my record and removed from the case. I'm very thankful I chose Kim Stephens. After I made several other calls to other attorneys, I made an appointment before I hung up. I'm very happy with the outcome.
