This is my opinion and what I experienced. Horrible and super hostile service In a G.A.L. capacity and 1000+ days of what I felt was deliberate inaction to make decisions in order to elongate case, to run up billable hours it seemed was the only purpose. I never got a file. Charged $50 an email often left unacknowledged ($500/hour times 0.10 minimum time) and G.A.L.'s fees, like student debt, are inescapable per Supreme Court Ruling. I had to take everyone to court to get Vaccines enforced. CT is a vaccine mandate state. I experienced an "all things court" approach on even the slightest decision and Court appearances cost enormous amounts of money, when should have been a 2 minute decision. My opinion is AVOID, AVOID, AVOID. My opinion is it maybe a good idea to NOT sign retainer. Kirk was unprofessional to me in speech and emails, in the end, totally becoming unglued, acting like an "animal". Kirk demonstrated no ability worth paying for, in my opinion, not that I could find, and I have (2) Master's degrees, so I am not exactly stupid. I have dealt with numerous types of lawyers, in my opinion, I give him an F-. In the end he SCREAMED at me in his small office space with (3) females present. my "crime"? asking him to get and read from a Custody Evaluation located 10 feet away. Was quite alarming to see someone so blindly lose control of themselves with rage. Have not seen that before or since in all my life. For me and my Son, totally worthless experience. I am entitled to my truth. Negative stars!

Kirk Bennett is an amazing person. He truly wants what's best for his clients. I first met Kirk when I hired him as the review attorney for my mediated divorce. He went over my agreement with a tooth comb and added valuable language that helped me later. Besides his excellent legal skills, he brings unimpeachable ethics to every case with which he s involved. He is a practical no-nonsense lawyer who serves his clients interests superbly. And he also happens to be a terrific guy!
