I hired Lauren Cohen after a year of zero progress being made in a divorce case with a very volatile person who would not agree or comply with anything even remotely fair. I was hurt and completely frustrated by the time I found her. Court date after court date, Lauren fought relentlessly for me. She never, ever let up, even when I felt like I had no more fight left in me. Recently, a long three-year court battle finally came to an end, I was victorious! Thanks to Lauren and her hard work, I was able to obtain full custody of my son (anybody in Illinois understands how difficult that is to achieve as the father). Lauren also worked tirelessly to handle my divorce. When it comes to family law, Lauren is among the best and the only attorney I’d ever consider using.

I could go on and on about Lauren and what a blessing she has been through some of the hardest times of my life! I know it’s sounds corny, but she truly cares about her clients and what’s best for them. She has an impeccable talent with numbers. Lauren truly is a rare gem in her field. I have had Lauren on my side for several years now. My very close friends, trust my referral, and use Lauren. Lauren Cohen was fantastic all around and was extremely fair in her billing. She answered all emails in detail and in a timely fashion and was great in court.

***Customers Beware**** I do not recommend this attorney. Lauren was hired to handle my custody case, which ended in 2024. It had been an interminable process, and with Lauren failing to bring the case to a conclusion I had to fire her. Due to her inability to return my son, I have to pay back child support, and now I have to pay future child support costs. I'm left with nothing after spending thousands of dollars with this attorney who doesn't care about her clients wholeheartedly. I have now learned that before hiring a lawyer, do your research and check the reviews and success rates of their past cases.
