I will be forever grateful for Jerilyn. I entered her office crying uncontrollably. She was so patient, kind and tried to put me at ease. She is very knowledgeable, organized, listens and uses all her expertise in the court room. I felt that she really cared about me not only as a client but as a person going through an extremely difficult time. I would recommend Jerilyn in a heartbeat. A MUST READ. STRAIGHT TO THE POINT, ABSOLUTELY NO B.S. Presented with divorce papers and you're troubled with what to do next. First thing I found myself doing was finding an attorney to represent me. Where to go, who's going to represent me well, etc, etc... Honestly I knew nothing of attorney Jerilyn Clarke or any other attorney for that matter. I've heard great things about attorney Linda Clarke and decided to take one of the most nerve racking decisions and made an appointment for a consultation. A good comparison is the day I arrived on Paris Island, SC when I enlisted in the United States Marine Corp, "Am I making the right decision?" I soon found myself signing legal paperwork for representation. I came to Attorney Jerilyn Clarke as a complete ball of stress. I was, honestly, out of control in a sense of asking questions and expecting my new attorney to answer questions and represent me on agenda items that hadn't even been discussed with my soon to be ex-wife. Jerilyn sat me down and explained the process I was entering into, making me feel at ease. I learned rather quickly that I needed to listen to and take the advise of Atty Jerilyn Clarke entirely. She always had answers, extremely great advice, always put me back on track when my emotions took the better of me and was EXTREMELY knowledgeable of every aspect of the divorce. My divorce decree was written in such a manner that covered aspects of the divorce and just as importantly, after the divorce was final that ensured protection relating to FUTURE investments, inheritances, etc. Jerilyn new when to argue an agenda item and when I would be wasting time and money and always, always, explained why. If I didn't understand any legal aspect of the divorce I was entirely informed by her. So what happens when I need help filling out this financial long form? Attorney Clarke's paralegal, April, was extremely knowledgeable when getting my paperwork in order, explaining how to complete my financial paperwork, knew when to give me an answer and when to direct me to my attorney for the answer to a legal question. All my paperwork, legal forms, affidavits, etc. were always ready to present in court or for my signature. Court appearances: Atty Clarke was extremely professional and when speaking in my behalf was by far the best I could have asked for. Attorney Jerilyn Clarke was worth every cent I paid, for this extremely stressful time in my life. To answer the questions that you are possibly asking yourself; No, I do not and did not know attorney Clarke on a personal level. No, I'm not getting anything for this review. Look, I took a leap of faith because all I could find were the some what generic reviews given to attorneys on their websites. I'm not knocking previous reviews by other clients I just decided to take the time to be straight forward and honest with my review. My leap of faith resulted in finding a diamond. Best lawyer around I have been with Clark law office for I believe 5 years now in a Divorce that involved 2 children.
