I am at the beginning stages of my divorce case and it is a messy one! When I retained Moira I was in the most broken state of my life, but I was optimistic after speaking and meeting with her that we could turn things around. After our first court appearance I was so relieved to have her on my side! She was prepared, spoke well on my behalf and turned things around for me like I had hoped. I am hoping the rest of my case continues to be as successful!! I will update as we proceed! So far, very impressed!!!

I am reiterating here my 5-Star Review of Attorney Hogan that Google has improperly hidden from view. Moira is absolutely phenomenal! I hired her after my first attorney failed me miserably. Moira came highly recommended as a fierce litigator, a strategic advocate, and an experienced counselor who truly cares about her clients. Not only does she work really hard, Moira, and her dedicated assistant, Giovanna, always kept me well-informed about my case which was messy and complicated. Thankfully, Moira and her team got my children and me stabilized and where we needed to be. The cost of her representation was well worth it, and I am forever grateful.

Anyone who is seriously considering hiring a Family Law attorney in the Bay Area really must turn to Moira Hogan to help him/her/them navigate the difficulties associated with highly conflicted matters. Not only is she the "best in her class" at everything she does, Moira is a great person to deal with *and* she ALWAYS has your back! I originally hired Moira several years ago when my long-time, significant other filed an unsubstantiated restraining order against me. I was scared to death because a lot of false claims were being made, I was kicked out of our shared home and control of our two minor children had been taken away from me. She also managed to block our joint bank accounts and was threatening me in every way imaginable possible. Although I was under the gun, I did interview several attorneys before meeting with Moira. After talking to the others, I knew for sure that Moira was the one who had the experience and tenacity to go the distance in my case - not only to turn things around quickly, which she did, but to stick with me during the very long process that I knew was on the horizon. I am SO glad that I hired Moira and *not* any of the other lawyers I interviewed. She works harder and more strategically than anyone I have ever met, and she left no stone unturned for me throughout my entire case. She is sharp on the law, well prepared for every case event, and compassionate about both mine and my children's personal needs. Because she is so good, she is indubitably and extremely busy; but, I always felt that my needs were well met, as she has a highly competent legal assistant and support staff that made sure I was getting exactly what I needed at every phase of the process. I have no problem paying for excellent service, and I can assure you that Moira and her team are worth every dime. She beat the restraining order, got me equal custody of my children, protected my assets, minimized my support obligations, got my ex to finally get a job, and she even managed to assist us with finding a way to co-parent together for the best interests of our children (note: found out today that my ex's attorney finally got fired for creating so much drama and driving up the legal fees without getting any results; thus, the one of many reasons for the timing of this review!). These last several years have cost a lot of money in legal fees, but those costs were driven by the other side. I am thrilled with the results and, in my opinion, you cannot ever put a price on protecting your children and ensuring that your scorned ex does not control you, your money and/or the rest of your life. Moira is a real warrior who goes to battle every day and comes back victorious. GO HIRE MOIRA to win your own wars!

I made an initial consultation appointment for $350. I was charged $550. Mr. Maynard then lied and told me the $350 was a "special price" due to time sensitivity. A complete lie. He has refused to return my personal papers/info. When I emailed, he threatened me, called me and extortionist, and threatened to sue me. AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE!

Mr. Maynard and Ms. Hogan are absolutely a horror! They will drain you of your money and if you question them they turn on the client. The worst is that they start acting crazy! Without hesitation they fabricate FALSE accusations of violence against their office or to them in order to intimidate and get money for services not rendered at all (also made up) Absolute insanity. The lawyers in Santa Clara are a group of mafia that meet at sports caffe's to discuss clients case and make deals. Maynard and Hogan are part of the "club" Absolutely dangerous people acting as lawyer because the happen to know the law and how to use it, but not in a good way. keep your family and yourself safe and look somewhere else. They also have file complains against them.
