My boyfriend and I closed on our NYC co-op last week and if it wasn’t for Michael Simon, I would have been driven mad. Buying a co-op in New York takes a long time (between 3-6 months) and requires far too many people and a lot of coordination. Michael’s involvement in our transaction unequivocally made for a smoother process. Michael’s prices were higher than other real estate attorneys that I compared him with; however, his responsiveness and willingness to wrangle those with poor communication made it worth the extra cash. Above all, his response times were impeccable: I was regularly able to reach him with a single phone call and he nearly always responded to missed calls and emails within the hour. It was easy to schedule with him and we dealt with Michael directly 90% of the time, though his assistant Lillian is also great to work with. Out of the cast of 8 involved in our transaction, Michael was without question our most valuable player -- as well as the most humorous. My boyfriend and I highly recommend Michael Simon and would happily work with him in the future.
