I hired Michael ballaban in 2018to represent me in a Title 7 labour dispute. Mr. Ballaban assured me that he was very experience in labour disputes. I handed over all the information that I had acquired union contracts title 7 disputes previously won in court. And Mr. Ballaban refused to read any of the information that was provided to him. When he filed the case in court he did not file the correct charges. He just seemed interested in running up the clock since I was paying him by the hour. When it came time to start the depositions Mr. Ballaban seemed very confused and did not understand my case. For he did not take the time to read my case. He only asked questions that I provided to him for he asked me to provide him with a list of questions I thought he would then take that and use his experience as an attorney but did not. One of the depositions he had the wrong address and we were 2 hours late very unprofessional. By this time I decided to terminate Mr. Ballaban and hire another attorney to finish my case. I was paid up-to-date with Mr. Ballaban. When he learned that I hired another attorney he was very angry and did not cooperate with my new attorney in handing over any information and then he sent me another bill for $8000 and put a lien on my case. A year later I still cannot get any of my money. He has cost me more money trying to hire attorneys to fight the lien. He is a horrible man and is only looking out for himself and wants to take everything from his client and leave them with no money. Stay away from this attorney for he will bring you nothing but problems.
