It is very unfortunate that we live in a world that considers the monetary value of a person’s livelihood. I reached out to this Attorney for legal advice over three weeks ago, and to no avail I was told after calling each time for a follow up to be told call the CLS (California Legal Service). What is confusing is at what point in the first week after giving my detailed spill could this not have been told to me, so I could appropriately move to another option.

If your a probono be aware that even though you have representation at anytime you can be dumped and left hanging in an even worse situation. After about four months I was dumped (probono) and during the four months maintenance work was done which was part of my case and so when my case was dropped my situation became more challenging for a continued case. I'd have been better off not having had contact with this lawyer. Verbal agreements don't mean anything. Typical lawyer.
