These negative reviews are 100% accurate. This law office has spent hundreds of dollars in court fees and court cases to garnish $800 from one of my employees. They have ruthlessly harassed myself and my employee which has caused him and his wife great mental anguish and stress. Their behavior is cold and heartless. I hope anyone reading this will think twice about using this firm.
Spent hours trying to defend medical bill i don't owe. Anyone interested in filing a lawsuit with me?
This happened to my friend and is still ongoing, so I won’t mention any names, but my own and this corrupt law office of Quinn M Kofford! My friend received a summons saying she owed thousands of dollars from a medical bill that went to a collection agency from Quinn M Kofford that supposedly happened years ago? She knows nothing about this incident at all! It seems that this law office is scamming others because of made-up charges, fake claims that were supposedly sent to a collection agency, and threatening letters from their office!! It is very difficult to understand what to do when the corruption is so bad? This law office needs to be shut down because they are crooks! Any suggestions would be great!!!
Of course they pushed some buttons but they do have to collect debts. I had an ambulance debt for my so son when we were in-between insurances and neither would cover it. I don't make much money at all (currently none) so I've spent several years trying to pay it off. They don't call at ideal times - around holidays, around usual paydays, right when the pandemic hit hard, etc - and that did get very stressful. But I gave 3 stars instead of 1 because eventually they did ease up and become more understanding. Working in collections they cram down your throat that you must collect, collect, collect at all costs! I would never ever want to have that awful job! But it's their job. Justin worked with me in the end and accepted what I could afford to pay and eased up on calls when I explained that I had to pause in payments because I just had a baby right after being forced out of my job. If you make your payments, they're not that terrible. Which makes sense because you owe the money and it won't magically disappear even if your job goes away, your debts do not. All in all, it seems like depending on who you get you may or may not have a tolerable experience. Justin did fine and I appreciated his respect towards my situation in the end. Also, others mentioned issues getting records but I've never had problems with that. I've asked Justin several times for paperwork along the way and each time I've received what I asked for. I did, though, still keep the original paperwork from 6 years ago which everyone should do no matter what.
I missed literally one doctor appointment where four of my children were supposed to attend at once. I got a $50 fee for each child, which amounted to a $200 debt. I thought that was ridiculous, so I didn’t pay. The pediatrician hired this law firm, who sent a guy to serve me papers at 9:30 PM when I was putting my children in bed. Gave everyone a fright. Absolutely appalling behavior.
