Barbara Stage is the attorney working for our HOA. She has gone above and beyond for our neighborhood. She reviewed our Bylaws and documents spent several hours at our club house explaining them and current laws. Her explanation of laws and bylaws was easy to understand. Barbara Billiot Stage, Orlando, will be publicly reprimanded by publication in the Southern Reporter, on a Dec. 31 court order, and be evaluated by Florida Lawyers Assistance. Stage was replaced in a civil case. When new counsel had the case dismissed, Stage filed a charging lien and made misstatements due to her mistaken belief about the facts and law. Stage was subsequently sanctioned by the court, and attorney fees and costs were awarded to the complainant. Stage later filed for bankruptcy. (Case No. SC15-2256)nnAn attorney that does not know the facts and Law and had to file bankruptcy???? Really????????

This is not a JD, neither a Florida barred attorney. Their practice is very unprofessional, and Liu barely knows a thing about Florida Laws. They lost case files and miss court dates frequently. Be aware!
