First of all, if you are reading reviews on lawyers, then my heart goes out to you because it's always a difficult time if your looking for someone to represent you! That was us, for years, in and out of court for reasons we still think are ridiculous. My husband and I have worked with many lawyers, but with confidence we can say that Steve was the absolute best we have ever met and worked with! Our journey with lawyers, before we met Steve, had many frustrations. It was so annoying to feel like a bother to our other lawyers! We were being unjustly dragged through the system and the lawyers we were paying to represent us just wanted us to settle so they had less work! We were feeling defeated and decided to find someone new to represent us. It was truly a blessing to meet and work with Steve. From the moment we met him, we knew he was different. He actually took the time to listen to us, cared about our feelings and asked how we wanted to handle the situation. He actually listened and supported us fully along the way. He always got back to us in a timely manor, always kept us current of what was happening and helped us secure the exact outcome we hoped for and wanted. It was amazing how much of a burden was lifted from us when we had a lawyer that actually was doing his job with integrity. Steve Buitron has represented me in multiple family court proceedings as well as a separate civil matter. Not only had he always successfully worked each case to get me the most beneficial outcomes (often times, exactly what I was looking for), but the thing that has always stood out to me most when working with him is the way he treats his clients. Steve Buitron represented my elderly father in an ugly and bitter divorce case. Normally, I am no fan of lawyers but Mr. Buitron conducted himself in a respectable manner and vigorously provided counsel when being opposed by a lawyer who has a reputation of being dirty and underhanded both personally and professionally. Mr. Buitron was readily accessible as I was able to reach him on both his work and cell phones and his office staff was friendly and helpful. After months of us not backing down and holding our ground my father had a very favorable outcome. His price was better than we had expected and we would highly recommend Mr. Buitron.

I wrote the review below about two years ago. I feel it now appropriate to update my review. Everything I said before stands just as true today as it did two years ago. In fact, Mr. Buitron has continued to represent me in and out of court these past two years. His performance has remained beyond reproach. To reiterate, his pleasant, calm demeanor makes every interaction with the court or other attorneys an absolute delight! And, yes, we were victorious in every proceeding, just as before! This past spring, Mr. Buitron was principally responsible for having the county court overturn a mistaken felony conviction. The record was expunged and sealed! In fact, without going into detail, this was the first time in over 20 years that a conviction of this sort was vacated! The court proceeding took under ten minutes and the judge didn't hesitate for even a moment to overturn the conviction. So, once again, if you need a forthright, honest, hard working attorney, Mr. Buitron is the attorney to counsel and represent you. Mr. Buitron has been my attorney since August, 2012. He has counselled me and aided me with several legal issues and has represented me with a variety of government agencies as well as in Court. At all times, Mr. Buitron was well informed of the law, well prepared, and well spoken as my representative both in and out of Court. His manner is one of genuine concern and compassion. He always had a "handle" on the situation and readily anticipated apposing counsels' arguments. My favorite anecdote is one in which I asked him, after yet another victory, why we kept winning. His soft spoken response was simply "Because we're right!". In fact, while we may have been "right", I think all our successes, and we were always victorious, were attributable to his honest, humble, hardworking, inciteful approach to the law. If you need a man who will be straight with you and tell you like it is, while working diligently on your behalf, Mr. Buitron is the attorney to choose.
