Can’t wait to file my FCRA lawsuit against these crooks. Break collection laws and continue to do so even after filing complaints. Send them a cease and desist and they still call. Hopefully they get shut down. They play very close to the fine line when it comes to collection practices.

It's not legal to try to collect expired debt, but Timothy Baxter and Associates did this. They won in court without a hearing due to how courts are set up -No representation = no rights. Didn't even get a hearing as the judge jumped the gun. It was marital debt, not even mine, and I was long divorced. Each time they sued, they were able to add their fees to the debt. After 3 consecutive years of suing us Timothy Baxter and Associates finally forced us into a bankruptcy with it's illegal and unethical tactics. Several years later I was included in a class action lawsuit against them. If I remember right, according to the letter, Timothy Baxter and Associates lost. I know they currently have a lawsuit from 2018 and are not recommended by the BBB. I didn't receive further information and no compensation was given, but my family and I are still paying in terms of credit and life options. Timothy Baxter and Associates are leeches on society's butt, and an example of how our legal system aids parasitical lawyers while they suck the lifeblood out of those who can't afford representation.

They are a bunch of liars and thieves. Their customer service is a joke, you can email cust. ser. but they never respond back. If you call, they just hang up on you. If they leave you a message, it doesn't say who they are representing, so you will believe it is a scam until they take you to court. Then you'll receive to notice to appear after the court date. In which the judgement will say they can garnish your income tax RETURN, but instead they will just garnish what ever you have in your account. Even after they claim they will accept a payment plan from you. But instead, are the first payment is made, the next month they will just with draw the remaining balance or if that's not available they just withdraw what ever amount you do have.

Very poorly staffed you can never get a word in just to find out information they will try to make you seem like you're upset when you're not and all you want to do is find out informations very unprofessional I could not even have Timothy e Baxter call me back cuz his staff would never release information to him maybe it's time for me to get an attorney involved and time to call the Business Bureau as well. They don't even deserve a one-star they deserve none
