They tell you to call to make a payment but for 2 weeks of calling everyday and hearing "sorry we cannot answer your call at this time" So you can never get to speak to anyone. Worst place ever

I’ve been calling for over a month everyday. Trying to get through to the department that handles payment plans and nothing. I was told they have a lunch rush from 1030a until about 2. The person told me it is better to call first thing when they open at 8a. So I thought for sure I was going to get through to someone when I called at 8a . Still nothing the automatic voicemail response picks up and says the offices are closed. And I called all throughout the 8oclock hour. I’m trying to respond to a lawsuit and get on a payment plan. I even tried calling the court house on the documents that was sent to me and that number just straight hangs up. No voicemail, no ring or anything . At this point I’m frustrated. I’m trying to come to a solution and I’m being straight up ignored.

This law firm is HORRIBLE at communication. They don’t answer their phones & all their reps give inconsistent & inaccurate information. Even the local court & bank agreed these guys are very to work with.

Impossible to get ahold of! You’d think that for how many employees they list on their website they would have someone to answer the phone. I’ve been trying to get ahold of them for three weeks regarding a lawsuit that I paid them for. They said they would let me know when my check was received for the lawsuit and if I didn’t hear from them to give them a call. This was almost a month ago and I have called more than once every single day since the end of that week. It took me almost a month to get ahold of them in the first place. They lied on court paperwork stating that I never attempted to get ahold of them. The paperwork was dated for March 26th, and I have records of four separate calls dating between March 12-20 where I left them a message telling them to get ahold of me about the lawsuit so I could pay it off. They sent the first court order to an old address that I haven’t lived at in two years, and never bothered to try getting ahold of me when I didn’t respond for two months when they clearly had my phone number (which I haven’t changed in 7 years) and the plaintiff had my current address. I had to find out about the lawsuit through a nosy family member who was for whatever reason on the circuit court’s website looking that up. Thankfully after a month of calling I finally was able to get ahold of them and pay off the lawsuit just in time, but I haven’t heard anything about it since the day I sent the check out. I paid them almost $3000 and was expecting them to at least let me know what was going on, but I guess my case isn’t important enough for them to pick up the damn phone. When they do pick up the phone they seem to be annoyed and the tone of their voice is an annoyed tone like they’d rather not talk to me about my case. Totally unprofessional and I will be persuading anyone who is considering doing business with them in the future to not do so. It’s not hard to tell why they only have a two star rating on Google currently, and if I could I would be giving them a 0 star review because they don’t even deserve the one star it takes to write this. Given the circumstances I feel that it would’ve just been easier to fight the case rather than pay them at this point, because at least then they’d have to show up in person in court instead of ignoring all of my calls left and right. And even then given their track record of flakiness with me I doubt they would’ve even showed up to court. Weltman Weinberg & Reis has got to be the worst legal service in the midwest in my experience, and I hope they can get their act together as a business in the future.

Pretty easy to deal with people, the representatives are nice to talk to, as long as you set up a payment plan with these people your court date will be fine
