My experience overall was 9/10 Vanessa and her team helped me obtain my permanent residency. My case was done in exactly a year. Kenia was my paralegal, she is super sweet and kind. The only thing I feel needs improvement is communication. There was several times that I did not get a call back and response to my questions, I’d have to call and check in or google myself. My case at some point wasn’t moving forward and wasn’t getting a biometrics appointment. After a couple months I asked if there was anything I could do to help my case and was told yes, I did what I had to do and finally got my appointment. I wish this information was given to me sooner to expedite my case. Again, communication can improve. Other than that, I had a good experience I’m so happy my case is done and I can travel. Very professional attorney! She gave me hope and helped me sponsor my mother while I was on active duty, regardless of how far from home I was. Always responding to any questions I had on the case in a timely and efficient manner. The paralegals in her office are also very knowledgeable and offer great customer service! I wish I could have the opportunity to meet Ms. Ortega, I chose this place for the great reviews, it is hard to trust attorney's this days, but the lack of professionalism from the staff is very disappointing, I paid $100 dollars to reserve my spot and they came up with different excuses , I do get that attorneys have a busy life but if you are paying for a service, at least they should've notified the client with time, I missed a class one full day of work plus my husband's time, only because they didn't do their work, if this is only with an appointment, what I can expect from my case.
