Zoila’s office and I have been working together since I was 15 years old. My story is long. I was brought to the US since I was a a year old. No recollection of the country I was born, through of course no choice of my own. The story is heart wrenching, upsetting… you name it. Long story short, when DACA was introduced I was amongst one of the first students accepted and approved for this policy in Massachussets and was able to get a job in 2012, a license and pay through college. Zoila took my case as pro bono. I’ll always be thankful. I had always renewed my EAC for the next 11 years. I married in 2018 and had two beautiful babies with my loving husband, yet longed to meet my grandfather and family back in the DR. My children had not met part of if not all of my biological mothers side of the family and it was then I realized, that although I had some support in the states, I couldn’t conform to not seeing them. I met my mother for the first time in 21+ years roughly, when she came to the US, thanks to my stepfather, who unfortunately is no longer with us. And I also had so many questions, after being motherless for more than 20 years. My grandfather suffers from cardiac issues, and could not travel to the states due to fear of flying and a previous cardiac arrest. I requested for advance parole and although difficult to obtain, Zoila’s office helped me gather all the needed evidence to fight for my advance parole. It happened! I traveled out, and met my amazing family. ????????????We shared laughs, tears and it was hard to let go. It was then we decided that granted this opportunity, since we obtained legal re-entry, to file an AOS. Special thanks to attorney Tania and Paralegal Beatriz, for answering all my questions, and I mean ALL questions. Baring with me. Using all of my supported documents. Advocating for me and showing nothing more than empathy and patience towards me. This team gets it. I am now 34 years old, and the journey was long… but I trusted in God’s plans. He said He would do it, and here we are. Gomez and Palumbo Law are the real deal!

I am sharing a review that the Walizada Family asked me to post. Thank you, thank you, thank you! My family (2 adults, 5 children and nephew) escaped from the Taliban in Afghanistan and were all granted asylum with the help of our lawyer, Tania, and her office! We are so grateful for all the work this firm put into our case to make our application successful!!!!

I highly recommend Zoila and Tania for their excellent professional work. I felt so comfortable talking to them because of their good hearts and warm welcoming smiles. They are very kind and caring that they reached out to me when my husband passed away. I am beyond grateful for Zoila, Tania and their team for all their hard work they put in for me to get a green card. They have given me hope and not to live in fear. I will forever remember you all. Thank you!???? Agnes
