***Update**** everything worked out Great! I am extremely thankful for this firm. They work so hard and sometimes respond late. After I informed them of my concerns, they immediately responded and continued with keeping me in the loop. Initial review: Pros: - The attorney's office was initially generous, helpful, and communicative. Cons: - Unable to contact anyone after receiving release form for settlement - Passed on to Leslie and then Bryson with no response - Feeling uncomfortable and unsure about the status of the settlement case. Starting to think it’s a scam! Patience, I understand. Lack of communication, I don’t!
This law firm never answers the phone it took them a year to get my settlement and I would of made out getting a lawyer in my own city. Their communication skill are horrible sorry but if they would of kept in touch I would of gave them a better review. And better communication skills they would of got 5 star's. Then they Lost my cousin check smh.
My car got ran into in 2021. I was in the hospital and made the mistake of reaching out to these guys. Within a month the customer service, updates and general interaction declined until I would have to call several times in a day to get even a basic update. I was told to text but I do not get a response. When I call they say, “before the day is done we will reach out to you”, but no response. Please find a different lawyer and don’t risk your livelihood on this firm. They never initiate contact and then dodge calls. I am risking them sabotaging me by telling you this because technically they are still my lawyer. Use their services at your own risk.
I give them the 2 stars instead of 1 because they did get the job done. However, not without struggle. I was constantly left in the dark, and could never get ahold of someone to get an update. Oscar threatened to drop my case. My doctor had to constantly speak to me to get information from the law firm. They refused to send over the correct documents, until informed he would speak to the bar association. This was a constant back and forth issue that made my case take longer to close. Everytime I did get ahold of someone, my case was in someone else's hands. I never spoke to an attorney in the 3 years I worked with this law firm. After I was told my case would be closed and my check would be ready early November. I was then informed I could pick it up a couple days before Christmas. I finally went to pick up my check in DC (at that time the website said the office was in Tysons) and the next day called the hospital to pay the remainder of my balance, only to be informed it had been sent to collections. When I reached out to the law firm asking why my bill was sent to collections, I received no response. This makes it seem as if it was a devious action on there part. Hence why I am writing a review. In the end they did ask me to.
It's been three months since I initiated my case with them, leading me to determine that their level of competence is severely lacking and their customer service is astoundingly poor. While it's understood that cases can be prolonged, their failure to respond to texts, phone calls, and emails is a clear indicator of their lack of professionalism. Consider the multitude of negative reviews they've amassed over time regarding their inadequate communication, yet there has been no sign of improvement. It's genuinely disgraceful. When I needed to complain, a person named Claudia Marquez refused to connect me with anybody else despite saying she would. I wondered why she was preventing me from speaking with someone else. Also, I never had the chance to speak with a lawyer after three months. My relationship with them ended, and I just want others to be aware of how they behave.
