I originally contacted this firm for a consult on July 17. The Secretary was very attentive...as expected of a law firm employee I would imagine. She took my contact information and told me I'd be called back. I waited a week. On the morning of July 24th while I had a free moment, I called again. I was patched through after a moment or so to Lee. I told him what I was aiming for or what I thought I needed. He informed me abrasively that was not at all what I needed. He told me what I had to do and then stated it would be 'labor intensive' for the lawyer. (Said with disdain perhaps) As a parent just calling a lawyer who has this sympathetic video involving PA judges and the interview process during custody trials, this firm was at the top of my list. I don't know or believe I was profiled in anyway over the phone..but he was more determined to deter me than upsale my cause. He stated the estimated cost like I couldn't afford it and it was tacky. I waited until today to write my review because I wanted to evaluate my own emotion and separate it from the situation. Time is money to a lawyer. But as a potential client, if he didn't not have the time for a consult, a better time could have been advised. The call was rushed. This lawyer is objective...of course this is what they have to be. For myself, there was lack of tact and compassion in the few short minutes the call lasted. I want what is best for my family. While I will note the 5 star reviews, I just know that it was an awful first impression. Time is money. My children are my life. I'd not put my life in this firm's hands. Not for all the money in the world. Perhaps he will read this. I apologize if your firm is too big for consultations. I'm sorry I was mistaken by the website. And I'm sorry I am not as wowed as the outcome of these other reviews. Keep in mind, I couldn't not even get that far. The lawyer seemed resolute from the door and it's a mystery as to why. My little one star review is just how you made me feel...insignificant and unworthy of your time.
