I went into the Hamburg office with my mother recently for her Medicare wellness exam. The nurse ran through the questions and seemed in a hurry to get us out of there. When my mother tried to ask a question the nurse cut her off. I told the nurse if she would let my mother talk then her question would be answered properly. A week after the visit we received a call about my mother being referred to a chronic care management program within the office. When I asked the caller why my mom was referred she said that the wellness nurse had put in her note that my mom was having issues affording her medication. My mom has zero issues with any expenses with her medication. We declined the referral and I checked her visit note on the portal and sure enough there it was in her note that she couldn't afford her medication. Not only was this documented incorrectly but a referral was placed that was unnecessary. There was no mention of any program that she was being referred to during the visit even though it was stated in the office note this was discussed with my mom and she supposedly agreed to it. We will be seeking a new medical provider due to this.

STAY AWAY! - They canceled me in the midst of COVID because I had a bill from Feb, and refuse an appointment. I have never had anything like this happen with any medical provider it's unspeakable. Now I have to wait weeks elsewhere for a new patient appointment. Your wellbeing will be demonstrably unimportant to these providers. UPDATE: 05/22/24 - this practice is now reporting unverified debt to the credit reporting agencies of nearly 1000$ for 3 dr appts somehow even though I had comprehensive insurance. They are doing so without providing access to any bills also. I never received my "termination letter" which was processed by a CPA and not a physician and had no medical justification. I'm seeing a lot of similar feedback and encourage people to affirm their rights and file complaints with the office of civil rights because while a "financial discharge" is a thing according to them, so is patient abandonment.

FPA? YES! I see a newer physician at the practice, Sarah O'Leary is her name. I came into this practice the same time as her. It's like she knew everything about me prior to my first appointment with her. Truly it's like she's been my doctor for 10 years. I am amazed! Kind, methodical, thoughtful treatment from a doctor that listens to me. I will never go anywhere else now - unless I have no choice. Great job Dr. O'Leary, you're good for FPA'S patients and that is good for me

I arrived early for my 11:20 AM appointment for an evaluation for strep throat. I asked if the doctor was running close to his schedule and the response was yes, that he had only three patients that morning. I was kept in the waiting room until 12:30 PM. After being taken to an exam room, it was 12:50 PM before the doctor arrived. 20 minutes later, we were done. My previous doctor with FPA retired, his name was Dr. Wesley Johnson. He always kept his schedule and was the best doctor that I have ever had. Since he has departed, it looks like it might be my time to depart FPA as well. Two hours at the office for a 20 minute visit with a doctor is absurd. As a follow up, I did speak with the billing department at FPA. They were willing to provide a 50% discount for the day’s visit.

Have been attending this office since it opened, PCM is located here. I have never had an issue till now. Due to the economy and how health insurance/care is extremely steep, I have had 2 financial dismissals as a patient. I will no longer be able to see my PCM due to this financial dismissals, after 2 I cannot be reinstated. I have over 20 years of medical history with my PCM and am very disappointed that due to financial hardships, which every person seems to be going through now, I will have to start over with a new PCM at a different office. These associates don’t care about you unless you are paying and the moment you’re not, consider yourself too poor for them.
