I picked up a 3rd DUI (long story, but I'm clean and sober now) in the Sacramento area. They let me out the next morning and told me to show up for court in a few weeks, which I did. The DA hadn't filed the case, so nothing happened. Then about 9 months later, no joke, the cops showed up at my house at midnight and arrested me. The cops told me I would probably have to serve at least 120 days IN JAIL for the DUI because that's the standard sentence for third-timers. I was terrified, but when I bailed out I did two of the most important things I've ever done: checked into rehab, and hired this firm to represent me. I didn't know what an attorney was going to be able to do for me, since I had a sky-high blood alcohol level and had crashed my car. I just did not want to go back to jail for that long. Howard Williams was my attorney, and he seemed to care about my case almost more than I did, and fought so hard in a way that I didn't even quite understand. He just kept saying "don't take that bullsh*t deal, we can do better." Finally, when it was all wrapped up, he kept me out of jail COMPLETELY, and got me the ankle bracelet instead. I had served more time on my second DUI! I can't recommend this firm enough.
