What a great visit we had and the history lesson we received! We had 10 -16 year olds with us and they all walked away learning something new! Staff was excellent and they seem to really love what they do. The placards to read where in a nice size, readable font that the kids especially could easily read and understand. The kids seemed to enjoy it and so did we! We will recommend this to others!

This is the best museum I've been to- ever! Very well lately out. The theaters are so fun and educational. My kiddos and I had a great time and the price is so great compared to other museums we've been to. The gift shop Is awesome too.

I am a mom of three very active curious kids (ages 11, 8, 6) that don't sit still long and like hands on experiences. We had been told to visit the museum before but passed on it two years ago, this time however after visiting the City Museum we decided to check out what the hype for the Abraham Lincoln Museum was all about (my husband was highly skeptical, since he hates museums in general). We were ALL blown away - what an absolutely incredible place. I hope the word continues to spread about what a world class museum this is - especially for those who have been turned off of museums (my spouse). This place makes history live & reinforces the importance of learning from and persevering the past in a way that is incredibly immersive, artistic, and accessible way for ALL ages/learning types. Also, we encountered friendly and helpful staff. A destination worth detouring for !

The museum itself is awesome but the people running and and the guards everywhere made us feel like we were not welcome. If you have little kids they won't let you carry them in a carrier on your back. Other then that the rooms are really cool and informative.

Nice Addition To Central Illinois Great informational museum and gives Springfield an amazing gift of history. The surrounding area has so many places to visit including the State Capital. So try to spend the whole day wondering around town. It'll be so worth it.
