I was very pleased with the way Steve Lombardi of the Lombardi Law Firm handled the wrongful death case for our family and the final results. With the initial conference I found him to be very open, friendly and easy to converse with as he discussed his background and past experiences in the legal world. After discussing the pros and cons of a potential claim as well as potential outcomes, my confidence was very high that Steve would be able help in a substantial way. His proposed strategy seemed very logical and was based on his past experience with similar situations. In the end, Steve was able to negotiate very successfully with the insurance company involved. I am generally a very private person and don’t discuss family details in a public forum. However, there are some issues worth noting for the benefit of anyone looking for third party assurance of Steve’s capabilities. The various issues of this situation included the following: tragic accidental death of a 4-year-old child from a broken family, multiple families and generations were involved with different perspectives and sentiments towards each other, multiple attorneys involved, some very aggressive and “non-user friendly,” and a question of how to determine “equitable” distribution of any monetary proceeds to the families involved. To complicate further, a second separate estate had a vested interest in the outcome of this estate settlement. These issues had to be managed simultaneously along with negotiations involving two different insurance policies. A very complex situation to in my opinion. Steve managed all the issues and egocentric personalities in a patient and very professional manner. Throughout the entire time period Steve maintained timely communications and discussions. He was very thorough in researching all the facts and data for presentation throughout all negotiations. Additionally, Steve is just a very likeable “kinda” guy. He did exactly what he said he would do along with allowing time to be empathetic with the family situation. His conservative perspective on potential outcomes was exceeded at the conclusion of this claim. I am very happy and feel the settlement distribution was very fair to all families. I would highly recommend Steve’s legal services and would not hesitate to ask for his help again if ever needed in the future.
