At first, I thought everything was going to be easy/straight forward/handled and done with. Wrong. I paid, and heard bare minimum. He didn't even reach out to me with any updates on the case he was representing me on. The case was dismissed, and he didn't even reach out to let me know. He also only paid about half of the court fees from the retainer I paid him, and left me to deal with the other half...even though they were supposed to be paid for out of the retainer. I would not recommend at all, if he is still even practicing.

Horrible experience. I should have listened to the online reviews of former clients complaining about Richard stahl taking their money and doing nothing else. I paid Richard stahl a retainer fee for an appeal’s case. The appeal was dismissed and besides talking to me on the phone for the initial consultation, i did not hear from him. He did not even inform me that my appeal was dismissed. He kept the $5000, refused to answer my calls and e-mails, both after I made the initial payment, and after the appeal was dismissed. His behavior is an embarrassment to all good attorneys. Do not hire him.

Run, run as fast as you can away from this firm. I hired Richard Stahl to handle a fairly easy divorce. 7 months later all I have to show for the experience is a rough draft of a Seperation Agreement. He doesn't return emails or phone calls to either myself or to my spouse's attorney. When I confronted him about all this he tried to put the blame on me. When you are going through the roughest time in your life you need an attorney you can count on. One who is responsive to your needs and works diligently on your behalf. In my experience, Richard Stahl is not that attorney. What a costly mistake! Richard you should be ashamed!!!!

I used Attorney Rick for a document earlier on the Summer after a friend recommended. I enjoyed working with him. Conversation about the process was easy to understand. Found him to be down to earth and easy to talk to. Have recommended again to others since then. Email was definitely the easier way to reach vs phone

Spent over 5 K a year ago, still married. His office will not respond to e-mails or return calls. Take your money and run, don't pay 4K upfront.
