It was a phone consultation and we had some general questions about personal investments, as well as a complicated sale of an investment property for a client. Not only did Mr Lyons not charge us for a phone consultation, he provided us with some very valuable information and led us in the right direction, which I'm pretty sure saved us and our clients hundred of dollars. I hired Lyons Sullivan to represent me in dissolving a family corporation with some tricky family members. I chose the right lawyer. Mr. Lyons showed superior skills in grabbing essential elements from numerous financial and real estate documents, and applying them effectively to my case. This review is for the attorney/CPA David T. Lyons in Washington state. We hired Mr. Lyons for the sale of business for the estate and that's when our nightmare started. Through his manuevers, Mr. Lyons has been in control of our profits from the sale of our estate property and its residual income for over 3 years, and has been consistently taking money out for himself in terms of made-up fake fees (recently discovered in excess of $250,000). He appeared nice in the beginning, and tricked us to sign a power of attorney and been enriching himself ever since. He continues to make up excuses and to refuse to release our portion of the proceeds. Phone calls to his offices are ignored and he pretends not to know us. Recent financial discoveries uncovered that he has spent 32 times on high-priced escort services and has bought frivolous jewelry and luxury items, using our money! We will continue to fight until we claw back every cent of our money from him!

My husband and I hired David Lyons to help us in a business dispute. He misrepresented the situation to us. He keeps charging us high fees, and we later found that he also represents and works for our opponent as well at the same time! Not only were you representing them, you also served as manager for 5888 LLC (or DJ5888 LLC) for them. Anyone can search for it online. You are still listed as manager for their entity 5888 LLC. Does your professional liability insurance company know about this? You convinced them to sue us, and then stuck us with the bill! We were your clients and you represented both parties. David was grossly incompetent when working for us, was a complete waste of our time, and was a total disgrace. He seemed way too senile to do the job properly (which shouldn't be the case, as he seemed only to be in his early to mid 70's), and made too many stupid errors. Time to retire!
