Be prepared for a semi long review. Rebecca Guthrie was my attorney in a debacle of a case. My case was so confusing and messy that I could not get anyone in the Ocala area to take it. When I called this office I spoke to Rebecca who was quite confident in taking this civil case, where I was the respondent of a domestic violence injunction. She informed me of the steps we were going to take and advised me throughout the WHOLE ENTIRE process. When I called or emailed her, she made herself available to me, and if you know anything (or don’t) having your lawyer accessible is crucial. I have worked with Mark and Rachel for the past 4 years He handled me divorce and did a great job helping me settle for the outcome I wanted in mediation and court. Unless you have more than 4k in the bank they are useless they never answered my calls and they used up my funds. I settled with my ex for a better deal than they could come up with. Mark argued with me in open court. I lost custody of my son for two months right after I got them on the job. These guys don't know what they are doing they are just rude I fired them and decided to go it alone before my divorce was over I hope this keeps people from making the same mistake I did. I would recommend my exes attorney over Shellnutt George Cologne that guy is evil but at least knows who he is fighting.

I was advised to sign a MSA and then sued by my EX for contempt because Mr. Shellnut left our MSA open to more than one interpretation. He charged me $39,000 to settle out of court over the course of 9 months. If you want agreements to be left ambiguous choose Mark Shellnut. He is now suing me for $10,000 of his attorneys fees. Lol. Just look at the public court docket to see how many of his clients he has sued for not paying his exorbitant amount of attorneys fees. He is as greedy and as selfish as they come. There are much better human beings and lawyers in town you can hire with your hard earned money. Listen to my advice, you will be glad you did.
