I had a terrible experience with this attorney. She proposed an appointment for today at noon and was not present when I arrived. Nor was she available when her staff attempted to call her. The best her staff could offer was that she was on her way. She wanted to charge me $50 for a half-hour consultation, which is fine. However, this charge for an initial consultation suggests to me that she values her time, at exactly $50 in fact. Well I too value my time. I blocked out a half hour out of my busy schedule to discuss my legal needs with her and lost 20 minutes owing to her tardiness and thoughtlessness. In addition, when I called later in the day to reschedule, the woman who answered my call seemed confused. She was under the impression that Ms. Olsen had already spoken to me to tell me that was wasn't accepting my case. A call when running late tells potential clients that you respect and value their time.
