Mary E. Leahy

My experience with Mary was amazing! I didn't have to wait long at all and as soon as she came in to see me she was pleasant and made me feel very comfortable. She started the conversation with explaining her credentials and experience as an APRN and how our relationship as would work. She explained that she doesn't believe is making choices for her patients but rather works with them to make decisions together. What impressed me the most about my conversation with Mary was how understanding and inclusive she was off all my medical and family history. I felt comfortable expressing concerns and asking questions and I never felt like she was giving me a runaround answer. Mary also seems educated in holistic remedies which is something I value in a PCP as well. All and all, the interaction I had with Mary was genuine and put me at ease. I am thankful to have her a resource going forward!

Mary Leahy is a very professional, yet personable APRN. I trust her with all of my medical issues. She is willing to go above and beyond to help out her patients. She has recently moved to a new office and the new staff she has are great. They also take the time to speak with you and make you feel welcome.

Loved Mary as a PCP, she has always been kind and helpful. I just called to make an appointment for a rescheduled follow up and was told she left the practice as of 11/22/2022. I had seen her under a month ago and was given no indication that she was leaving??? I was rescheduled with a new practitioner but I am quite confused.

Terrible experience. Made an appointment as a new patient over 2 months ago. Today I get a call telling me my first appointment for next week cancelled because she's no longer accepting new patients. That would have been great information to have 2 months ago when I went through the hassle of getting my medical records transferred and stopped looking for a new PCP. No explanation as to why all of a sudden I can no longer be seen. I was not even offered an alternative appointment by another Physician at Starling.

Mary is our person and has been our Primary for over 20 years. We will follow her wherever she ends up next. She is the best as these other reviews state.
