Called for a quote for the retainer fee and the secretary told me the price, but immediately after, said that Mary is top end and referred me for a group of lawyers that may be more affordable. The secretary did not ask any other questions, said good luck and hung up. Funny! Maybe I sounded to ethnic and she assumed I couldn't afford her.
