Maureen’s born to do this. She’s such a knowledgeable and good adviser; I don’t have enough words for her. Maureen’s an outstanding attorney. She was always fast, responsive, and passionate when I emailed her; she’s been there for me during a very difficult time in my life. She handled my case better than I expected. Thank you, Maureen! Maureen is Amazing! She is by far the BEST at what she does. My divorce was not only mentally and emotionally draining but it was also a very complicated divorce. Two years into my divorce my first attorney had a unexpected family emergency arise and could no longer represent me. I was devastated. Maureen stepped in and took on my case. Since my ex and I owned a business and several assets there was a truck load of boxes dropped off at her office from my previous attorney. She went through and reorganized everything. I couldn’t believe how quickly she became an expert on my life and marriage. Maureen’s attention to detail is second to none and her memory is phenomenal. Keeping everyone’s best interest in mind Maureen tried to settle my case several times but my ex refused. He wanted to battle in court, Big Mistake! I wish I had a video. Even my ex’s “famous” lawyer was no match for Maureen. Maureen is so organized and well prepared for court that if she is asked to provide something she can do it in seconds. I think she has everything cataloged and itemized in her head. I don’t know how she does it but I’m glad she does. With Maureen representing me the outcome of my divorce was better than I expected and her fee’s are very reasonable.

I cannot speak highly enough of Maureen and Teresa. I was in a pretty bad shape emotionally when I first went to see Maureen. I had just faced a couple of court appearances due to a family abuse issue with a different attorney and I was just feeling so frustrated. Little was communicated to me, and it felt as if decisions were made FOR me and not WITH me. I remember how relieved I felt in the very first meeting with Maureen. She listened!! Unlike so many other attorneys that were quick to put together a "game plan". Maureen listened!! She and Teresa continued to support and fight my corner through the 18month long process. We were able to negotiate the divorce settlement out of court, and I was very happy with the outcome. I hired Ms. Kersey in May of 2020. I don't think either of us expected my divorce to last 2 years. It was a very trying time for me and having Maureen represent me was the best decision I made. She is a phenomenal attorney. Ms. Kersey was always responsive when I called or emailed her. Ms. Kersey can be tough on you at times, but she is also extremely compassionate. Ms. Kersey is very knowledgeable about the military. When we finally sat down with my husband and his attorney, I couldn't have been more proud of her. It was a 9 hour day and she was respectful, firm and a strong leader. I am not sure there are ever any "winners" in a divorce, but I came out on the other side better than I expected and if I ever need to hire an attorney, she will be my first choice. I can not recommend her enough.

I used Maureen's services twice. First time was for the divorce a few years ago and recently to update the child custody agreement.
