I would like to write a HUGE thank you to Attorney Cynthia Gardner. WOW what an experience I had at the Special Needs Law Center. From the first time you call for your appointment (Jill) your call is met with a very friendly voice. I was unable to make the first appointment and Jill was kind enough to reschedule me with no problems. They truly understand that when you have a child with special needs what they need always will come before your own. As a single mom to a wonderful 13 year-old Simon, I started to think to myself what if something happens to me during the COVID-19 pandemic whom would I turn to take care of Simon? The fear was overwhelming!!! I knew then that it was time for me to go and see an attorney. However, I was also scared that they would have no idea how a parent of a special needs child feels or how to really understand what is needed. Then, like a veil was lifted - I came across the Special Needs Law Center and BOY am I ever glad I searched the web! I met with Cynthia and she understood. I mean REALLY understood what I was feeling and how much my love for Simon was to make sure that when the time came he would never have to worry about his life going forward. Cynthia is serious and understands. She is focused & experienced. Writing your Will is very hard and I broke down many times in the office. Cynthia was very understanding of this and helped me get through it. I thank you Jill for the many times you bought me a cup of tea and your friendly smile. The Special Needs Law Center is a welcomed place where I was treated with the upmost respect for my entire family. Mrs. Gardner helped us with a Special Needs Trust for our girl, Stephanie, in which will protect her for her entire livelihood. We placed everything in the Trust for Stephanie so if we pass before her; she will not loose the assets to the state. I also have a conservatorship in place for any life decisions that need to be made once me and my husband go to be with the Lord.

Every aspect of working with Cindy and her staff was outstanding. We highly recommend her services. Navigating through the legal chaos of wills, trusts, Conservatorships, etc. can be a nightmare and quite intimidating. This legal office took all the stress and intimidation out of the processes and made all the documents we secured an easy and painless process! We are so grateful!

Cindy Gardner was a absolute life saver! We had previously had two get 2 lawyers so we could get my sons trust fund money moved into a new trust that would not effect his SSI payments when he turned 18. Nine months later we find out that it was put into the wrong type of trust and my son would be losing his SSI payments. The previous lawyer that had made the arrangements had just up and left town. We of course were in a panic!! I was lucky enough to come across the Special Needs Law Center, Maurer & Gardner website. Cindy was so wonderful helping us get everything fixed. I could tell right away (from the lack knowledge from the previous lawyers had) that this lady knows what she is doing. She was a wealth of info from beginning to end and is still giving us advice when we need it. Anyone having to get a lawyer for special needs issues need to use this firm. Do not make the same mistake we did. You need someone who knows what there doing with this stuff. We could have saved thousands!!

I was introduced to special needs law center in 2014. I needed an attorney to handle my daughters conservertorship. She was not only reasonable, but she gave me advice on a range of issues that had arose concerning my daughter with special needs. She was not only professional, but she was personal. She treated my daughters case as if it was her own. She suggested that I do things and I am glad that she did, because of the issues that came up years later. She made sure she covered all basis in the legal wording that have protected my daughter in a lot of different situations. I had people suggest other attorneys, but I was so pleased with her that I contacted her in August of this year to handle my sons Conservertorship. She is very thorough in explaining what is needed in conservortships, wills, and trusts and will do what is best for your circumstances. I have contacted her after hours with questions and she have always responded within a few days. I chose her because she is honest, trustworthy and knowledgeable. This is very important to me for the type of services she provide.
