So the first several hours with the Shapiro Law Firm illustrated how the sibling team of Amanda and Aaron are special: I contacted Amanda last minute for a hearing to occur the next day. While taking notes about the situation, she asked sharp questions. She was ready to go to work, starting with suggesting a face-to-face meeting IMMEDIATELY. Not digital communication leading with the legal bill (though that's always important). No $300 consultation fee. Instead, Amanda vouched to avoid the typical over billing for minutia that give many lawyers a bad name. But the Shapiro Law firm is worth every penny. Into that first night -- well past work hours -- she communicated constantly: text, email, whatever it took. I told her a few times that she's not the typical attorney. She's smart and humane. She stressed that I should tell the TRUTH about the case. Short story: As you can read from other reviews, the Amanda and Aaron team are a dynamic legal duo. Any client would be fortunate to have them.

I would like to thank Aaron and Amanda for the amazing job they did with my case, my immigration process has been handle with exceptional attention and this has allowed the process to quickly advance with success. Amanda is knowledgeable, responsive and extremely efficient, Aaron has been kind, supportive, straight-forward and accommodating throughout my immigration process. I retained them in 2021. I was in immigration court for removal proceedings. Aaron and Amanda are nice and they do a great job explaining options and legalities. They filed a motion to terminate my case from immigration court which was approved in 03/2022 AND helped me file a new i485 application, that was approved 12/14/2022. I highly recommend, and will most likely use them for my citizenship in 3 years. Their applications are very thorough. They give you questionnaires they made that to help gather all the evidence.

Aaron Shapiro was pleasant to work with. He's a no-nonsense type of guy, very transparent, and will easily work with your particular situation or requirements. I hired him for a Family Law type of thing, but I wish I knew about him earlier so I could have chosen his firm for Immigration stuff as well. Highly recommended!

I don’t even know how to possibly begin to tell you how amazing Amanda and Aaron are. I was dealing with a HUGE SCARY case concerning my children where the other parent was abusing them without my knowledge. The court appointed an attorney who was the rudest, inappropriate, condescending person. She treated me like garbage. I ended up in the hospital because of how much stress it was causing me. I called Shapiro Law Firm and spoke to Aaron for a consultation. And she was assertive with ACS, which is never pleasant, and coordinated with all the players: district attorney, detectives, kids attorneys, judges, etc. They left no stone unturned for me and if it wasn’t for Amanda’s sleuth detective skills, they would never have found my fugitive husband who is now in jail and she’s almost completely handled my divorce. Aaron and Amanda are the real deal. You don’t want to skimp on a lawyer, even though they are affordable, it’s money well spent. And they are incredible humans to boot. Amanda should be a therapist as well and Aaron had me laughing with his dry humor even in difficult moments. I’m forever thankful to them and will never forget what they did for me and my kids.
