Run as fast as you can. She gets high marks from everyone in the business, but is really all about the money -- all blow and no go. Doesn't really care what happens to her clients, as long as she gets paid, and then disappears when you most need her. She's really too busy to give her cases the attention they deserve and talks big, but is just making it up as she goes along. Don't let her talk you into a trial -- she gets more money that way and doesn't care whether she loses -- after all, she's not going to prison -- you are. She'll end up talking you into settling at the 11th hour anyway, when she could have negotiated harder after the first offer, but then she's already spent all your family's money getting you there, so has worked the case to her greatest benefit, unless the DA calls her bluff. Great, if she wins on your behalf, but don't forget she's going to Vegas on your dollar. Settle quickly and as cheaply as possible -- you might just be better off with a public defender -- or someone who has worked with the DAs and knows how to make the best deal. She'll try to make you believe she's special and convince you that she can pull it off, but that's just her pocketbook talking. And she's just riding on her Dad's coattails, who has a good reputation, but that was back in the good old days, when people had ethics and morals, and didn't sell out their clients so they would end up coming out smelling like a rose. Oh, and she needs to be liked, so it's more important to her if the judges and DAs think she's one of them, since she doesn't want to be seen as siding with the criminal element now, does she?
