I have had the pleasure of the talented Jacelynn Lambert highlighting my hair….. twice!! I was very impressed with the teachers there and how closely they work with their students. I went in, told Jacelynn what I was looking to get done. She completed the task spot on. She did such a great job, the second time I went to her, I gave her a slightly different challenge. She nailed it! I can’t wait for the next look she will give me.

you never know what to expect when getting your hair done at tricoci university, i’ve had great experiences, mid and awful. Today was awful. my student stylist was friendly and professional, she did a great job on the color, but thanks to the instructor i left with a good 4 + inches of hair feeling like straw, breaking off to the touch and unable to brush without loosing a ton. the instructor was less than friendly from the start, not listening when i was speaking. I came in asking for a balayage and left with a full foil, somehow. my fault for not making it clear that i wanted some dark root left, but i thought that was clear when i asked for a balayage. i knew my stylist was concerned about the bottom foils being on for over 2 hours, and asked the instructor multiple times on when she could take them off, the instructor never gave her a clear answer and said you just have to let them do their thing, and gave her a maximum time they could process, ive had services here in the past and know students take longer which is why professional instructors stepped in to help the student remove those foils sitting the longest and spray out the bleach with water. my stylist had to grab another student for feedback and at this point i was worried and asked them to remove tje bottom foils which they agreed. The instructor then questioned her on why. came over shortly after and was very rough with my hair, yanking and pulling it while helping with toner, bumped into me multiple times with her ipad, and rubbed her fingers across my forehead with toner that was never wiped off. The back of my scalp was burning and still is. when it came time for a blow dry my stylist could not get her brush through, i say in silence watching my hair that was overall healthy the morning of fall to pieces and feel like straw. I haven't had bleach on my hair in 1 year, there was no reason for me to leave with such damaged hair other than the negligence of this teacher. Her response was well it wasn’t breaking off when washing it out, and got rude and said if i could just let her talk and rambled poor excuses - i’m a quiet and respectful person and never speak up, she is in the wrong and should not be guiding these students, because she does not care if she wrecks your hair. 5 hours of my time wasted and damaged hair.

Saw McKenna today for the second time today because she does amazing color service and taught me how to properly take care of my hair at home. I have perfect color and my hair is so much softer now. Great job McKenna thank you!! Go see McKenna!!

My experience was fantastic. Jacelynn was my stylist & was very attentive & patient with all my questions! She KILLED this hair look! The color is exactly what I was looking for! Ontop of all of that her personality & quality of professionalism was top notch. I highly recommend coming to get your hair done here & by Jacelynn if possible.
