After my case was over for over a year they decided to keep communicating with the opposing party because the opposing party didn't like the outcome. Instead of not responding because the case was over they decided to send me the bill for it. $500 just for emailing a person that did not hire them. What a way to milk money. I got no issues with paying for services that were needed but this is just ridiculous. Once the case was over that was the end. In my opinion very unprofessional.

They canceled on me the morning of my consultation, and I waited a week for that appointment. They then only called me back once with no confirmation to reschedule. I was told they would call me back … again and they didn’t. I’ve now tried to get in touch by calling 3 more times and left messages, and no one has returned any phone calls to reschedule the consult and court dates are a timely manner. Seemed like they didn’t really care to have my business or to help me.

Called the law office and asked for a consultation on a document I had received and was flat out denied even a review of said document . Reason given is they do not go against provincial manadates. I was simply looking for clarification on how the document reads, yet was denied service.

Christine Burton prepared our family documents, we couldn’t be more satisfied with the service we received. Speedy, effective, family friendly and very welcoming environment. Highly recommend :-)

The bottom line up front is I was very delighted with my experience. First off, I found Christie, the legal assistant very engaging; she was very personable and made me feel like a welcome customer. Second, Pam, the office assistant, was very accommodating. I needed some documents printed, scanned, and reviewed by an escrow officer out of country for accuracy and Pam made me feel like none of this was a burden on her. Third, Don Scott, expressed multiple times he wanted to make sure I got what I needed and so was willing to review the needed documents and signatures a second time to make sure we got it right. I'm from the US and unaccustomed to paying for the notary services. Nevertheless, given the attention and care provided by this office and its staff, I'm happy to say I received a great value for the price.
