No one on this Earth has the heart, soul and true ability to care about other people except Derek. He is truly one of a kind. He puts everything into his work and truly loves and appreciates each and every person he works for and does to the greatest of his abilities to help each and every person he comes across. There is no other person on this Earth I know that cares as much as he does about his job and he wears his heart on his sleeve and truly will do what it takes to help. It's an honor and to call him a friend, and to just know him and see his true gift everyday as I do, and to let others know that if he is in your corner, you are truly blessed and cared for. I am so thankful to him in everything. Thank you Derek. You have made me a better person in seeing how much you care for others and teaching me to be like you in so many ways.

Derek Cordier has helped my immediate family, friends, acquaintances and many other members of the LGBT community without fail during his brilliant, however surely challenging career. But don't take my word for it; his charitable actions and willingness to take on cases no other attorney would touch speak louder than words. And this in a State that still silently and openly sanctions blatant discrimination against We the People. I can't Imagine his wherewithal within such a toxic atmosphere. Future generations will recongnize his selfless dedication. But until then sadly most heroes remain during their short lifetimes unsung.
