THE WORST Lawyer in the world. The case lasted 7 years with all the MOLD photos, MOLD Company tests report Documents and DOCTORS’ reports that MATT asked for and costs me $$$$ for at the end to be sold to the other party and dismiss our case.???????? (The CITY had to demolished that house, the floor was caved in). The other party said they paid a lot of money, to whom?, we never got a penny, still wonder who did? Matthew had told us he can stretch cases as long as he wants. Last, The Judge told him, you are a witness to the other party to dismiss this case and he said yes. BETRAYAL
My son and I had a long court case against a vindictive landlord due to a mold exposure that resulted in huge medical bills. Matthew and Adi were great from the beginning to the conclusion of our case. Matthew’s knowledge, professionalism, and a calm demeanor made me feel safe and in the right hands during all the mediations and depositions that we had to go through. Adi fought with the opposing counsel to make sure all our medical bills were covered and that we had the best possible outcome of our case.
We had possibly the easiest case Matt has ever had and they utterly failed to deliver. Their entire business is centered around getting very quick settlements, avoiding going to trial and collecting their very high 40% cut. In our case, the HOA wanted to settle right away. HOA's first offer was a major low ball, only 1/4 of what we were asking. Surprisingly, Matt's team pressured us constantly into settling. I was getting call after call, urging us to settle. They completely ignored the issues we brought up. They didn't even add up all of our expenses or read the documents we sent them. In the end, they opened us up to a HUGE Liability because they didn't do their job. Knowing what I know now, I would never hire them.
We had to hire another lawyer to fix their mess. They dropped the ball on a slam dunk case. We had multiple floods which were the HOA's responsibility. Matt's team failed to even read the documents we sent and couldn't do the simple math of accounting for our expenses. In the end, they dropped the ball and forget to include a number of major expenses which led to a much much lower final number and big liability for us. When we asked that they fix the mess they created, Matt tried to send us a bill. We had to hire another lawyer to fix their mess.
I spoke with Matthew regarding filing a potential mold lawsuit. I really appreciated him taking the time to review every possible scenario with me and what evidence would be needed for various strategies to build a case. He clearly and professionally answered all questions I posed. We decided together based on the information we discussed l, at this point, it was a weak case. However, he gave me a legal plan of action going forward which eased my mind should I again be flooded by my upstairs neighbor. He was a light in a very dark tunnel. Thank you Matthew!
