I'm writing about my time at their properties and this is my honest experience there. I've stayed there since 2018. My family have been looking for a place to move to. A lot of places we went turned us away due to bankruptcy. They place I went to see had everything we needed. A nice two bedroom town house. Great Neighbor's as well. I didn't have high hopes due to everyone else turning us away because of you issues. I sat down with Sarah and submitted my application right after seeing the property. I had everything ready to go but before she ran out application I had to tell her about my bankruptcy and they reason why I had it. She sat there and listen to me. I ask please consider my reasoning and situation. She then ran my application, and approved us. I was shocked and couldn't help myself and asked why? When everyone else said no. She said I was completely honest with her. I was beyond happy and dam neared cried in from of her. Why offered to give a tip. She declined said this is why she's here, it's her job. We stayed there for a few years and bought a house this year. So here is my experience while staying there. First the staff are awesome. Most property they have are well maintained. Ground main range is pretty spot on with cutting grass and keeping it clean. Now here are some issues I had. When having work done in my home, it may take some time for them to come and get it done. It doesn't have every time but it does happen. Sometimes weeks. Next would be pest control. We and other tenants next door had multiple rat In our homes. The company wouldn't send exterminators. So we had to deal with it ourselves.next was rent. Every year it jumped 80 bucks or so. While others didn't. Overall their awesome company to work with. Their not perfect but a lot better then a lot of other places around. I would recommend them to anyone.
I can relate to one of the other reviewers. I came here in the past and they were pretty rude, so I was looking for something this week and decided to give them a try again. The lady by the door is very nice and is usually helpful. The other one beside her is terrible. Also I worked in customer service for years in the past I felt like she has no idea how to deal with people. Unfortunately when I got there, the lady with an attitude was only there. But anyways, they had a house for rent on their website and I wanted to look at it but when I got there it wasn't ready. They said they didnt know when it would be completed but yet it was on their website. The attitude of the staff, plus the house wasn't ready, made my decision real quick. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I don't think I'll be coming back here
We rented from Miller from 2005-2016. We were always on time with rent and tried to keep to ourselves and enjoy our home. They were always respectful of us and minus one late response, possibly a late report by after hours, to a call with our heat going out...they always responded timely, fixed things properly and treated us as friend/family. All rentals I have looked at through them were clean and maintained. Huge regrets leaving them but I needed a bigger place...fast. I usually dealt with Sandy because she knew us well and always understood our needs. But never had issues with anyone else there as well. Always kind to us. I have rented for 28 years and they were my most professional landlord. I will probably be looking for a new place soon so I will be looking there first.
We rent from Miller & Associates (now called Scarlett Properties) and while I have nothing to say about Scarlett Properties, as I've yet to encounter them, Miller and Associates dealt with us respectfully, and professionally. We have never had a single issue, stay to ourselves, and have NEVER been bothered. We pay rent on time, they leave us in peace. No complaints.
If I could give zero stars I would. Rented a house from them for 2 and half years. Never late on rent a single time. Never caused ANY trouble. I was told that I had a large dog in the house bc the landlord seen a dog outside. They gave me 30 days to move. I cleaned the house very clean. Some small damage here and there but nothing that 100 bucks wouldnt take care of. They kept 810 of my 900 and listed a bunch of bogus charges. Im sure they with something to act like they are in the right. I would agree maybe 100 bucks to fix everything. a couple damaged blinds. They charged 300 bucks for 10 blinds from Walmart. I wont get my money back from them but I would STEER CLEAR of these scam artists.
