Reviews

Atty's at Miller Johnson have failed to accomplish a successful resolution in my divorce proceeding, allowing for the Settlement Agreement to be violated with no consequence or follow up to adherence. Very disappointed in her lack of professionalism, including the ability to spell the client's name correctly.
I hired Jason Colvin to represent me as recommended by a friend. He did not get me any better deal than a public defender would have, refused to show the evidence I had, convinced me that pleading guilty would be the best decision, and refused to advocate for me. Jason also failed to tell me he doesn’t normally work in the county my offense was in until we were at court, then told me he had never really worked with that prosecutor. Jason also failed to even get the evidence that the court “allegedly” had against me. Jason maybe spent a total of 5 hours on my case. I paid the retainer which was over $1,000, and I get a call almost a year later claiming I owe an additional $3,000. This place definitely taking advantage of people and it’s not OK.
I've recommended them to clients & businesses but no more. We hired them to facilitate the process of getting an H2A Visa for a family member. Started the process at the beginning of the year, they never follow up, deadlines were always waited until the last possible moment, forms rejected, and contant "...well because of Covid we're" backlogged, short staffed, whatever their excuse was. Being short staffed & backlogged sure didn't stop them from getting THEIR invoices out on time but they didnt have a care in the world to do our work in a timely manner. Here we are in October/November and nothing was accomplished & they called to say "Oops, visas are all gone for the year. Good luck, bye bye." What a waste of money, stress & aggravation.
Did not tell my Mother, who had a Trust made through Miller-Johnson, that it would cost another $5000.00 to administer the trust. She had already paid over $5000.00 to draw up the trust. My Mother recently passed. March 2, 2020. Our family does NOT HAVE $5000.00 to convert Trust. Shame on you for taking advantage of and charging people outrageous prices. My hometown, it has a little bit of everything. Nice small city.
