We've worked with Bob at Molitor and Associates, Inc. in order to find renters several times over the past five years and they have always been prompt, responsive and professional. Bob goes to great lengths to find high-quality renters and give you honest, experienced answers to your questions. They have now moved to a new address, but if you're a landlord looking for good renters, I highly recommend them.
My experience with them was very unprofessional in relation to other experiences I've had trying to rent in the past 3 years. To start I was unable to make the showing time that was upcoming. Because of this I reached out asking if it were possible to view it earlier in the week (I was asking on a Tuesday, the showing was Saturday) I was treated quite rudely due to a misunderstanding in how their system worked and it took almost 20 emails to conclude that they couldn't show it to me earlier. Thankfully I was able to move my appointment so I could make the showing. When my girlfriend and I went there, we were not even greeted. We walked around the place and never received any help or information. When talking to the leasing agent after, we asked about the cost of lawn and snow removal, as many other places we were considering were up front about it. I was replied to with simply we don't have estimates for that and no other help.nnI can't speak for the company as a whole but only my experience trying to see a rental and get information about it, which was not pleasant. Simply the experience turned us away from possibly renting the place.
We were working with this firm to potentially rent a property and I have never dealt with such an unprofessional firm in my life. Bob did not return any calls, by the 5th voicemail he finally called me back. After I requested a showing he sent his assistant (who showed up 30 minutes late) and hardly said one word to me or my son. I asked for more information and told me he wasn't sure if I was a good fit for the neighborhood. After that he would not return my call. I am was in shock. He gave no reason why I was not a good fit, but perhaps it was because I am a single dad, or the color of my skin. I would encourage anyone who is considering doing business with this firm to reconsider who you are dealing with.
While trying to schedule a time to come and view the property Bob, the property contact, asked me a few questions regarding how many people would be renting, if we had pet, etc. From there Bob began to say that he was sure there were actually 4 renters, and that would be too many, even though I told him REPEATEDLY that there were 2 of us. Bob began to be rude, threatening, and demeaning. I tried to explain that there would be 2 people signing the lease, two people paying rent, 2 people living there, and no more than 2, yet he just couldn't wrap his little head around that. I would not recommend! I am glad it didn't work out because it wasn't until after that I read the comments associated with this property management company and it sounds like it would have been a nightmare.
As a landlord, I'm grateful to have found Molitor and Associates, Inc. If you're looking for excellent renters who won't stiff you or scam you, Molitor will find them for you. Bob is an expert at what he does, he works tirelessly, responds quickly to inquiries, is extremely clear and informative, and gives you honest, good advice, always.
