I am so pleased with the Shaheen Law Firm. We needed legal documents for my mother and it was urgent. We were able to get an appointment the next day at accommodating times which was important for us. Author Shaheen is great, and his associates. Also, Loren, went above and beyond customer service by meeting us offsite due to mobility issue.I will use this office again in the future because of their professionalism and kindness. Thank you Shaheen Law Firm! My family is very pleased.
Oh where to even start with these guys...my husband and I finalized our offer on a home we were purchasing in March of 2021, and set our closing date on June 1st, since our wedding was in May and we wanted to wait to close until after our wedding. The seller of our home made the mistake of choosing this firm to handle the closing. Shortly after signing the contract with the finalized offer, the Shaheen firm sent us an invite to our closing, June 1st at 9:30AM. When my now-husband dropped off our earnest money deposit in early April, he was told in no uncertain terms that they didn't need anything else from us and would see us at the closing. Nearly two months go by and we think everything is set, we'll get married, go on our honeymoon, and return just in time to close on our new home. Cue us waking up to a phone call from our mortgage lender 4 days after our wedding, telling us that the Shaheen firm has been completely unresponsive and has not sent them the necessary documents for closing, and as such we can no longer close on June 1st. Not a great thing to have in the middle of our honeymoon. After several unanswered calls to the Shaheen firm agent supposedly handling our closing , Matt, from both us and our realtor, Arthur Shaheen finally decides to email us hours later that this got lost in "end of month madness." That doesn't fly, since they had more than 2 months at this point to sort out our closing. After conveying our extreme disappointment and upset, Arthur decided he is too thin skinned to handle criticism over his own firm not being able to do their jobs and threatened to cancel our closing altogether. Luckily our incredible real estate agent was able to help us switch to a different firm and close on our new home; but only after Arthur demanded to keep our earnest money deposit for "services rendered." One, zero services were rendered. The firm completely forgot about us and refused to communicate. Second, an earnest money deposit is a deposit that goes from the buyer to the seller, and is held in escrow by the title firm. Since the firm didn't actually perform our closing, they were not entitled to a single cent of our money, but that didn't stop them from trying to keep over $1000 of it anyway. TL;DR, I would give zero stars if I could. Do not use the Shaheen firm for anything under any circumstances, they are crooks that are completely incompetent at their jobs.
Working with this firm was seamless regarding our new home purchase. Mia & Sarah were wonderful to work with, and closer Phil was very professional. They were able to work around our busy schedules and got us closed on time. I’d recommend the Shaheen Firm to anyone.
I cannot say enough good about Mr. Shaheen and his entire staff. They were truly amazing from start to finish. Made me feel like a priority, attentive to what I was needing done and quite frankly one of the most pleasant and kindest offices I've ever walked in. I cannot thank them enough for such a flawless experience.
I have used the Shaheen Law Firm numerous times over the past 8 years without issue; however, they recently didn’t want to handle my closing because they were too busy. Both, the buyer and seller, were flexible and could wait, but they still didn’t want to handle the real estate transaction. This is not how you build clientele, especially with a repeat customer. I’m taking my business to the Spicer Law Firm, who gladly accepted and handled the transaction.
