Let's be clear before I voice my complaints, Attorney Cameron Williams is phenomenal! He provided excellent customer service and showed his concern for the domestic violence I fell victim to, which is how I found MLO (aka Cameron). I scheduled a $275 consultation on a Thursday for my upcoming hearing on Monday in a state over 2,000 miles from my residence and spent a little over an hour explaining every detail of my time sensitive circumstances to Cameron and we reached a decision to move forward with representation. On Thursday, Cameron told me what steps he would take once Friday morning came. I agreed. He then said his paralegal would be in touch with a retainer. Nothing was done on Friday as agreed upon due to the retainer not being sent by the paralegal Thursday evening. I signed the retainer Friday morning and immediately after, Thomas Mulinazzi stepped in to ruin the wonderful attorney-client relationship that had begun 12 hours prior, stating that we can’t/couldn’t do anything we needed to do today because he wasn’t retained and that I all of a sudden have monetary concerns with a retainer deposit, after I signed their retainer agreement and assured Cameron that I wanted to proceed. Thomas then sent further correspondence saying he understands if I can't afford their services, and once I stated I was concerned as to the level of care and service I would be receiving considering nothing was done and apparently there was no knowledge I signed a retainer and asked how we should proceed, he responded solely with the following: "Yes, I think that it is better if we do not go forward with representation. We wish you the best and I am happy to refer you to ........" This has been, not only one of the most sensitive and traumatic experiences I have been through, but one of the most unprofessional experiences I have had ever dealt with, ESPECIALLY with a seemingly prestigious law firm. Between Friday afternoon and Monday at 9am, I had to make arrangements to fly across the country to represent myself and get the job done. Thanks for pushing me out of my comfort zone in representing domestic violence cases myself Thomas, truly appreciate the cherry on top of my trauma.
