0/5. Do mot recommend. Would not recommend. Terrible communication. Rude staff. They did not care about me as their client. To be completely honest there was no communication at all. I’ve never had an attorney who I literally NEVER spoke with until now. Mr. Mummert was my attorney appointed by the State. To this day I have never spoken to him. Scheduling an appointment with him was like pulling teeth. During a time sensitive emergency situation with my case I had to ask his paralegal 4-5 times to set up a teleconference between him and I for three days straight before she scheduled a teleconference for me a 7 days later!!! Paralegal was very rude and never let me speak with attorney. She only “relayed” his message to me which I was uncomfortable with because I could tell she didn’t care what I had to say from the jump and I over heard her on the phone with him and she did not convey all of the information I told her to him. She kinda set the tone for the phone call before she laid out my concerns. Then when it came time to my teleconference he did not call or answer the phone!! I tried addressing my questions via email. None of the correspondence back to me were answers to my questions. Leaving me completely in the dark. As a private attorney I was completely shocked by this behavior. Maybe it was because the state appointed him instead of me paying for his services but even still that’s no excuse for the mishandling of my case.
