After consulting 2 other attorneys that one specialized in family law and one didn't I looked for an attorney who was efficient and effective without being over the top price wise. Mysti Murphy's form and specifically Mysti and her associate Kate were able to bring to a successful conclusion a custodial order change in a little over two months. It was unusual case, because six people had to agree to it with 2 of the six in long term incarceration. I felt our case was handled with dispatch and even though there were a couple of bumps in the road, I was pleased with their attention to detail and the priorizatiion of our case. I wanted an attorney who was going to tell me the good, the bad and the really bad. Ms. Murphy did just that. She handled issues in a very professional manner (even when I didn't want to) and kept me honest when it was needed. Kate is her paralegal and is very knowledgeable. She listened to me a couple of times on the really bad days, but wasn't afraid to push me to get things I needed to do done. You don't do your part, she can't do hers, and that isn't helping you! When it came to mediation, Kate was, by far, the best extra person in the room. When I needed to escape, she walked with me, calmed me down and helped me see it wasn't the end of the world. When mediation was over, I was both relieved and satisfied with the outcome. Both of them will work to save you money. They won't have you fight battles that aren't worth fighting. Yeah, my ex was doing some things he shouldn't have been, but the cost of taking him to court wouldn't have been worth it. Cost benefit analysis. I would use them again and highly recommend Ms. Murphy and Kate.
