I worked with real estate attorney Elbert K. Turbeville or Kim to proceed through legal and title challenges to reach closing on my first house I was trying to purchase after my offer went through to the sellers but the property ended up in a complex court process. He (Kim/Elbert) was courteous, professional & knowledgable attorney, who kept me in the loop as to what exactly was going on legally through my real estate broker and parents. And ultimately he successfully got the property I wanted to close on to closing despite the legal hurdles and hassles.As far as I know too, the closing was also to the satisfaction of the sellers and their family as well. So I think everyone including myself was pleased at the resolution. At the real estate closing meeting, he (Kim/Elbert) was polite, straightforward, and professional to work with. And after a judgement was filed post closing, he dealt with this in a timely fashion to clear the property title and deed of trust to me and reach a resolution with the seller and their family. I definitely recommend him and this law office for assistance for in-depth real estate legal issues and closings. I was cheerful and elated the legal challenges were finally resolved and the closing was done at last.

I am using this office as closing attorney for a refinance . I have been waiting on the title search to come back for over 5 weeks. I have called Mr Turbeville's paralegal, Holly at least twice a week for the past 3 weeks asking her to contact the title search company and give me an idea of when it might be ready or at least a status update. She said she would email them and let me know. Not once did she ever call me back with an update. I finally called her once again on Wednesday afternoon 12/22 around 3:00 p.m. She told me she had finally gotten my title search back that morning. I said great, so everything is clear? She replied that I don't know, I haven't even looked at it. So while I have her on the phone, she is looking over it and sees something that she has a question about. She tells me that she will have to get Mr Turbeville to look at it and she will put it on her list of things to talk with him about next Tuesday. Really? 6 days later? I asked if she couldn't get him to look at it that day and call me back. I never heard a word back. I run a professional business myself and if I treated my customers that way, I wouldn't have a business for long. I do not reccomend this business!
