I facilitated my brother in law to speak to Robert. He needed the prod. For a small legal fee,my brother in law benefitted $35,000. I talked to a number of attorneys and they said we did not have a case. When we spoke Robert he agreed we did not have strong legal case but suggested my brother in law call and then write a follow-up email to HR to explain his legitimate family situation. He said sometimes this really works and a phone call is more personal and is better do in first before an email The HR Director empathized with my brother in laws situation and to make a long story short, it benefitted him about $35,000. Previously a friend told my brother in law to file a harassment charge instead. Robert said that had no basis and would not work with an empathy strategy. So that was invaluable to know.
