had a fine experience. i SCHEDULED AN APPOINTMENT ONLINE, i HIGHLY recommend that so you arent sitting all day waiting because they are VERY understaffed. i checked in with a link they sent to my email, checked in again at the kiosk when i got there, waited about 40 mins after my appointment time, and got an email saying to come to a window (they didnt call my number out loud). i just had a name change so it was literally less than five minutes. also note, you cant bring pepper spray inside. be smart. schedule an appointment online. and BE PATIENT. the world does not revolve around you, and there are several extenuating circumstances we are not privvy to. so just bring a book, make sure your phone is charged, and wait. not everything in life comes fast and easy. it sucks but here we are.

Went in the office today after calling yesterday asking about reinstatement of my Part B. The lady on the call was friendly and helpful. She said all I needed was a check (she gave me the amount) and to fill out a form. I went in today (8/7/24) at 9 and was 10th in line. The lady at Booth 11 started off nasty and said my license was expired. I had a letter for the DMV saying that my replacement was ordered. She then asked if I lived in VB and said that I was "out of jurisdiction." Mind you, this is a federal office close to where I work. She said it was going to take four hours because this office was busier than VB. Well, I was ahead of all but 9 people and most of those had been seen and serviced. How could it take four hours to reinstate? I hope someone at the Social Security office sees this.

I’ve had the worst experience of my life at this location. I was in this office from 10-4 waiting to be helped , all while hearing the workers in the back talking, laughing and eating. When I finally got up to ask how long was my number from being called, I was told to shutup or I wouldn’t be helped. Literally had no remorse for anything anyone was going through. There was restless kids who hadn’t eaten due to being in there for hours and no food being allowed. This place is dirty and the speaker barely works.. you can’t even hear the numbers being called. A lot of ppl missed their numbers due to not being able to understand the lady on the speaker. She sounded like she was underwater! I spent my whole entire day here and still got nothing done . Now I have to come back tomorrow in hopes that something will be done. I also was told I couldn’t speak to a supervisor .. all I could do was call the number on the front of the building to complain. IM SO DISGUSTED AND BAFFLED..

I'm sure I'm wasting my time by typing this but here goes anyways. A year ago I filed for SSDI. It was around 80 percent complete according to online. I got a call from Miss Hatter telling me they needed copys of my Workman's Comp paperwork and a copy of my birth certificate, both of which was submitted a year ago. I made a appointment with her for the next day and gave her the papers she needed. Now I receive a envelope in the mail telling me they need the exact same paperwork that was already submitted. I tried calling her back with the extension number she gave me but won't return my call. Now they're threatening to deny the claim if the package isn't sent in to them in 6 days. I'm really trying to be nice here but my God. What is going on? Ridiculous!

This is the most dysfunctional, ill run place i have ever encountered! There is one short black female there that made a VETERAN and his dog leave after several hours - a girl jumped up snd ran over to the dog and grabbed at it! The dog growled- so would I! The parent and child should be made to leave! But nothing was said to them! This woman then was extremely nasty to me when I git up after 3 hours of waiting to ask if I could just leave my form with someone instead of sitting which I did AZlL day until AFTER they closed!
