I thank God for bringing Jennifer into my life half a decade ago, when she began representing me in my legal journey and culminating in a complete dismissal of the charges made against me. My situation was a complicated matter seriously impacting my life, as I was facing 2 felony charges. It was Jennifer’s wisdom and tenured experience dealing with police officers that kept me from being arrested after she had taken up my defense. The Detective working my case decided to go back on his word and engage in underhanded tactics obtaining a warrant to arrest me the day before Christmas weekend. Under Jennifer’s counsel I was able to avoid a negative outcome, and instead post bail from the courthouse the day after Christmas. This guaranteed a record of no arrests/convictions and allowed me to maintain employment without issue. Jennifer also offered to write me a letter for potential employers provided there was any question due to pending court appearances. Jennifer has always responded to my communications answering my questions, detailing her legal strategy, preparing me as to what to expect going forward, and most importantly placating my anxieties. Updates were not provided daily but in the event of new information available, Jennifer would notify me either via text or phone call. There were several times I had breakdowns, to which, Jennifer responded with an hour phone conversation in one instance and an hour office visit in another. Both were not billed. What I appreciate most about Jennifer’s advice is that always presented the situation as it was without selling false hope. She presented the facts at hand, the options available, and the course of action she would take to obtain the best possible outcome. This meant she was equipped with a plan A, B, C, etc. Jennifer’s many years practicing law on both sides have brought her many relationships within the justice system. I believe these relationships to have played a paramount role in the positive outcome negotiated for me. Jennifer established an amicable line of communication to the D.A. who agreed to evaluate my difficult situation with an open mind. After 5 years of following up and overcoming the issues preventing a sooner resolution, Jennifer endured obtaining for me the most favorable of all results. Both charges against were dismissed. Thank you, Jennifer. You have not just been an attorney. You will always be a friend, a mother, and an advocate to me.

I ran into some issues in 2019 for something stupid, Jennifer walked me through the entire court process to put me at ease and took care of the entire thing herself. I didn’t have to go to court, my fines and sentences were reduced, and everything was handled quickly, despite covid happening at the same time. I was honestly really impressed because in my situation nothing should have been reduced, but she made the court understand my situation and helped me in a huge way, both with my money and time. I’m writing this review now because I recently got mail that I had a warrant due to something I thought I had submitted not making it to the court, I texted her on a sunday and she answered and made sure to tell me what to do and bring and say in court to fix the issue. When I went to court it was astonishing how unprepared people were, even someone’s attorney showed up unprepared, but since I had called Jennifer I wasn’t and it was handled I kid you not within 3 minutes of seeing the judge. She’s honest and blunt about your situation and will handle it efficiently. She doesn’t judge you whatsoever which I also think is really important and helped put me at ease. I would definitely recommend her.
