I applied for a patent through Michael Goltry at Parsons & Goltry. After being on the docket for 2 years at the USPTO-United States Patent & Trademark Office, which is not an unusual timeframe, I received notification that my patent request had been denied. I was in shock because I knew my idea was an excellent one & anticipated nothing less than a positive response from the trademark office. Michael Goltry contacted me immediately to review my options. After I informed him of my decision to move forward to seek my patent he went to bat for me & filed a response to the USPTO.
